Pharmagel natural facial
I am delighted to announce that I started using Pharmagel products for anti-aging facials and because I am aware that people are always interested in knowing what they are using on their face I am sharing some of the active ingredients:Studies have provided us with growing evidence that Vitamins A, B, C and E penetrate the skin, protecting the cells and tissues from damage caused by the aging process and environmental stresses. Pharmagel's unique Skin Treatment Delivery System of pharmaceutical grade formulations with intensive vitamins and botanicals provides a beneficial environment for protecting, correcting and renewing the skin.
Vitamin A: Retinyl Palmitate and Retinol-A:
-Antioxidant that protects skin against free radical damage.
-Protects skin from cellular damage by helping to maintain the tone and the softness of the epidermis.
-Penetrates quickly for rapid repair of sun damaged skin. Skin is softer, silkier and more resilient. Increases epithelial growth and thickening of the dermis and epidermis for better skin texture.
-Normalizes dry, parched skin for a smoother, younger, glowing complexion.
Vitamin E: Tocopherol:
-Powerful antioxidant that promotes tissue growth.
-Protects cells and tissues from damage caused by free radicals. Rapidly restores the appearance of soft, firm, youthful contours.
-Penetrates skin for long-lasting moisturizing
-Heals dehydrated and prematurely aging skin for a more even, flawless tone.
Vitamin B: Panthenol
-Enhances skin's activity and stimulates tissue repair.
-Quick and deep-penetrating moisturizer that tones the epidermis, making it extraordinarily smooth.
-Heals, soothes and calms skin, smoothing small imperfections in skin texture.
-Aids in tissue repair, promoting skin's resilient appearance.
Vitamin C: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate
-Chelated stabilized form of Vitamin C absorbed through the skin.
-Maintains the moisture level of the upper layers of the epidermis by triggering the lipid barrier production.
-Thickens the epidermis, visibly improving the texture of the skin.
-Stimulates collagen production, which firms and tightens the skin.

Cracked heels, rheumatic pain, dry skin?
with purchase of Manicure Or Pedicure service, valid till Nov 24,2008
It is paraffin wax treatments are luxurious spa treatments that are intended to moisturize and soften the skin. Paraffin wax treatments are most often applied to the hands and feet as a treatment. Sometimes used in facials masks for dry skin.
It is a soft wax which melts lower than normal temperature. I usually melt blocks of paraffin wax in a special paraffin wax pot. During paraffin wax treatments, I don’t dip clients’ hands or feet into the melted wax (because of hygienic reasons), I wrap the paraffin wax feet/hands with towels dipped in warm wax a layer after another to coat the skin in a generous layer. The hands or feet are then wrapped in plastic, then wrapped in boots/mitts
Benefits of Paraffin wax treatments:
- Soothe chronic arthritis joint pain
- Relax stiff muscles, warm muscles before therapeutic exercise
- Relieve dryness from repeated hand-washing
- Tired, overworked hands
- Very dry skin
- Great addition in dry skin facial (paraffin facials)
Paraffin wax treatments are particular popular in the winter because they are warming and because they provide a great deal of moisture to dry and cracked skin. Because the treatments are meant to be soothing, calming oils are often added to the wax in order to add a dimension of aromatherapy to the experience. Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils known for its relaxing effects
People who experience season dry skin often find paraffin wax treatments to be helpful and relaxing preventative measures.
